A Saree is a typically women’s garment from the Indian subcontinent that consists of an unstitched drape varying
from 15 to 30 feet in length 24 to 47 inches in breadth that is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder, baring a portion of the midriff.
The word sari described in Sanskrit śāṭi which means ‘strip of cloth’ and śāḍī or sāḍī in Pali, and which evolved to sāṛī in modern Indian languages. Though it has an ancient history like drapery is traced back to the Indus Valley Civilisation, but till now it has and cultural and fashionable value throughout its journey. There are more than 80 recorded ways to wear a sari. Here we are introducing a particular type of saree which is all time favourite and has a story of hindu mythology.
